I am a 2024 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor of journalism in broadcasting. During my time in college, I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of media roles that have taught me valuable skills for my future career. I pride myself on doing whatever it takes to get the job done right, and I believe that is what separates the good from the great in the mass media industry.
I have worked as a content creator for my college radio station, 90.3 KRNU, for the past two years. Throughout this role, I learned advanced audio production, audio board operation, and vocal broadcast performance skills that I can immediately contribute to a professional workplace. Additionally, I have worked as a videographer for the Nebraska football team for the past year. I have gained skills in camera operation, video editing, and perhaps most importantly working under deadlines.
It is one thing if you can create something great, but knowing your role and fulfilling it to the best of your ability really tells you a lot about a worker. I look forward to contributing in this way in my future endeavors.
